I think I have at least three variations of this necklace, all with different length and slightly different compositions. Looking through my collection, I have found two similar ones, but it seems I no longer have this particular necklace left.

This necklace was made from blue seed beads, small dragonfly metal beads, blue and crystal faceted glass beads, frosted blue and crystal pyramid beads, small blue glass beads with AB finish, and slightly larger blue glass cubes with AB finish.

This necklace was among the first I made from larger glass beads rather than basing it on seed beads. It is not quite symmetrical since I used a bead mix when I created it, and not all of the beads where exactly like each other…

It is made from dark grey and black glass beads, some with white or gold decrations, large metal spiral findings, and with a leaflike light metal pendant. I no longer have this necklace so this is the only picture available.

This is a necklace and bracelet kit made from white and silver-lined crystal seed beads, round metal beads and a small metal flower, hematite chips, and white quartz and agate nuggets.

The bracelet is made from memory wire with the same seed beads, round metal beads, metal flower findings, and hematite chips as the necklace, and is the only part of the kit that I have left.

Another seed bead and chips necklace, this one with gold-colored flowers and glass leaves.

The seed beads are gold and green and silver-lined, and the chips are amethyst and unakite. There is also a matching bracelet of memory wire with gold/brown seed beads chips and glass leaves, but the picture that includes the bracelet is not very good…

It is not obvious from this picture, but the chips are made of light green jade, so the color scheme is light green and metallic grey/brown.

The clasp and metal beads have an antique silver finish, and the glass bead leaves are metallic brown. The seed beads and larger glass beads are dark metallic grey, and the black pyramid beads have an AB finish.
Updated with better picture.

In some cases, I have made more than one copy or version of the same necklace. For example this one.
I found this lovely blue heart pendant with an angel, and just had to have it. At first I made only the necklace and later added the bracelet, but after a while I received a question about making more of them for a friend. Another friend bought the original copy, and since I really liked the necklace myself I made a new version but had to change the design since I did not have exactly the same materials available at that time.

The original design is based on blue and silver-lined crystal seed beads and small round, heart and star shaped metal beads, and some small blue glass beads with AB finish.

For the final version of the necklace, I kept the basic design but added some cloisonne beads, faceted blue glass beads, silver-lined crystal twisted bugle seed beads, and a heart-shaped toggle clasp.
This post has been updated with a new picture of the final product, courtesy of K. Wiklund.

This is another of my early designs, with different semiprecious chips combined with seed beads and a bronze colored pendant.
If I remember correctly the chips are amethyst, jaspis, tigereye, and hematite, but I am not sure since I do no longer have the necklace available.
The seed beads vary in color from gold and brown to silver and black, both in the necklace itself and in the pendant.

At first I was working mainly with seed beads and other small beads on wire. This is one of my early designs.

It is based on seed beads with small glass beads and natural crystal chips, and with a seashell flower as a pendant. The dark seed beads are all of the same metallic grey color, but the light ones are mixed shades of grey, white and silver lined crystal. The small dark glass beads are black pyramids with AB finish, and the larger beads are rectangular glass beads with metallic grey finish. The clasp is a small toggle clasp with details.
Edited, updated with a slightly better picture.

Almost two years ago, I found a kit for making my own bead necklace in a local store and decided to try it out. I got hooked immediately and started buying more and more beads and have tried new materials and designs as I went along.

This necklace and bracelet was what got me all started. Unfortunately the details are not very good in this picture, and I do no longer have the necklace/bracelet, so I cannot take a better picture, but the seed beads are dark with slightly different nuances in color, the glass beads are blue, purple and crystal colored, and there are some metal beads of different shapes as well. The bracelet is made from the same beads and memory wire.

I have been creating bead jewelry for almost two years now and have designed quite a few necklaces and bracelets. I have decided to start this blog to make it easier to show my work to friends and others, and I am planning on posting pictures and descriptions of my original designs here.
Most of the pictures I have available at the moment are of my older designs, but I will add pictures of the newer work as I get photographs ready.
I hope you will enjoy the site!
